Leather Vest
My wife, an EMT and rider, got me interested in this product. She has seen her share of bike accident responses which likely paralyzed the victims. I hope to never have my vest deployed, but if it reduces the odds of severe injury, I'm all in. If the vest performance reflects the Helite attention to fitting and ordering of their product line, my confidence is high that it will perform as advertised. After a prompt pre-order zoom meeting with their rep, all my questions were answered and the vest fits fine. No issues during rides. It is high quality and very functional. Glad we chose Helite.

Custom Leather Vest
Super well made. Great fit. High quality materials. It is a bit bulky If you are walking around wearing it. When I'm on my Electric Glide I do not notice it at all. Probably because it fits very well.
This is probably something only Harley guys would notice. Crotch rocket guys and sport bike owners tend to wear a lot more protective gear which is usually a little bulky or heavier.
Hopefully I'll never have to test its effectiveness! -

Im a skinny 6 footer went with tbe medium
It fits like a vest should.
Could of gone to large but there would have been a gap in my chest.
I can still fit it over my jacket, or ride without it.
Obviously material is amZing..havent gone down to review that part. -

Bought for safty. I Feel like I have the best money can buy.
I hope I never find out. Very comfortable fit is tight leather top quality. -
Money Well Spent Worked Perfectly
I bought my Helite all leather vest about a year ago. Yesterday I was in an accident and layed my bike down on the pavement.
This was a slow speed accident where a lady erroneously took a Left turn over double yellow lines right into my path (and literally suddeny directly in front of me). Thankfully I was already slowing down and merging into a right turning lane. And layed my bike down and Slid into her cars passenger side.
I didnt even feel the impact of the ground or the side of her car what-so-ever from the waist up. I literally said to myself, “it worked”. Lol....as I stood up realizing the Vest’s air bag deployed. I was only traveling about 20 mph granted, but asphalt is asphalt and any spill will hurt your back, shoulder blades, maybe ribs, who knows., but you WILL feel it, unless your surrounded by and airbag
